I am looking for long lasting (over 8 hrs if possible) floating candles for our centerpieces.
Does any one have ideas where to go theses for a reseasonable price?
We used floating candles as our centerpiece also. We used the ones that float in glass holders like this

We used the regular tealight holder and they worked great. I’ve never used the oil ones so I can’t tell you how well they work. As far as where to get them, we found them at a little craft store. It may be just as easy to order them online then to go out looking for them. Hope this helps!
Can you? Yes you can from the physical point of view.
Will it look elegant? I doubt it (depending on the glass design).
Will it be healthy to use drinking glasses to put a petroleum based product (and other chemicals)? Most likely not.
So it would be better to use something that is not used for food.

Welcome to Russonflowers.com. Enjoy, as Russ Phillip Jr. revisits creating floating flower arrangements and vasing.
This week Russ creates beautiful arrangements using a small and a 9″ lotus bowl with clear stone accents.
He features Stargazer Lillies, Asiatic Lillies, Spider Mums and Daisies.
You can create these simple arrangements using single, multiples of the same or mixed flowers.
Russ answers the following questions on the show today:
1) what types of flowers are edible?
2) is steve single?
3) what is the average cost of flowers for a wedding?
4) why are you in to flowers so much?
5) do you ever personally deliver flowers?
Green tip:
After your wedding, make a plan to have the flowers delivered to a nursing home or a hospital instead of throwing them out.

Retirement party for my boss- we won’t be swimming
Floating candles sound cool, they look beautiful at night, try Michaels, or Ikea thats where I’d look first for the best deal.
I have looked everywhere for aqua or the tiffany blue floating candles. Just the simple round, no shaped or symbols. If you find any please let me know!
Looks like this place might have what you are looking for:
