Why do scented candles burn longer than unscented candles?
Now THIS is a good question – a test/tests proved that the act of inhaling scent (or sent) can have an unusual effect on ones brain – , in some cases causing the smeller to imagine candles lasting longer than others – so , i think you’ll find , that he aforementioned candles are probably not so much lasting longer , but are actually lasting a similar amount of time as the non-scented variety , but the person experiencing the warm and comforting effect of the candle is drawn into a type of reverie , giving him , and others , the impression of candlongevidy .
Lavender colored, unscented candles?
where in the world can i find these, fairly cheap? I need around 180 of them for a wedding reception. The only place I have had any luck with is an Ebay candle store, but shipping it outrageous!
HELP!!!
Local dollar store, walmart and/or big lots does not carry this color!
When all fails… google search it, it never hurts to try. Good Luck.

why unscented candles burn faster than scented candles?
please give me a scientific research about this question. i will be having a science project to be passed this week. thank you
Unscented candles generally do not burn faster than scented candles. In my experience, it is just the opposite (unscented burn slower). That’s because of the added fragrance and/or essential oils. The fragrance or essential oil fuels the candle and is flammable on its own.
Your experiment is probably with two different bases for the candle itself. Whether it’s soy, paraffin, beeswax, your candle should burn faster with when it’s scented. Otherwise, they are made with different ingredients.
It could also be that because there is no scent, another stabilizer was added in lieu of scent.

do unscented candles take odors out of the air?
Yes, eventually. The bad odors will burned by the flame eventually. yea, I know that sounds weird but it’s true. There are more efficient ways to do it these days, like Febreeze.
Where can i find green unscented candles?

What are the best Web sites to buy natural candles (scented and unscented), natural incense, and oils?
As I purchase candles and incense for a party, I am interested in being more environmentally friendly this time around. What are some good sites that sell natural candles and natural incense? I’d like to know what you have tried or heard about, not the first thing that came up on Google. I can look on Google by myself.
I like www.etsy.com. There are a lot of eco-conscious artists selling their wares and I like knowing that while I’m not buying local (always the greener way to go) I am at least supporting an independent artist and not some huge corporation like Dow Chemical or something.
The Body Shop does have those reed and essential oil diffuser kits, along with other things. Not incense exactly but I prefer them to incense anyway because I don’t like the idea of filling my home with smoke.
Just wondering which do you prefer?
