How many 6oz jar candles can you get from 10lbs of soy wax?

My husband claims that the weigh of the flakes is different from the fluid ounces that you get when you melt the wax.

You should get around 26 jar candles from the 10 pounds of soy wax.

10 lbs is 160 oz. 160/6 is 26 candles, with a few ounces of wax left over.

I don’t know if working with wax and the numbers you gave translate mathematically, but if it does, then it’s about 26.5 jars of 6 ounces

16oz to a lb means you have 160 ozs of wax
divided by 6=26 and a bit left over.

Hubby is right, X-Wife made candles for years, besides this I know. Most 6oz containers, you only want to put 4oz in each one, And with soy wax, Never use more than 1 1/2 oz of fragrence for each pound. I’m sure i can come up with a lot of usefull crap if I were IM’d bout it
