Sorry, I meant that both soy and beeswax burns longer and much cleaner than the common paraffin candle. I’m filming someone blowing out birthday candles and I want the least amount of smoke possible.
My use aside, paraffin candles give off toxic fumes, sometimes traces of lead and cadmium. And apparently tallow candles (made from animal fat) are still being sold at places like IKEA.
The only place that I could find that had soy birthday candles online is the link below. The link has both soy and beeswax candles.
Maybe if you asked at a local health food store they could help you to get them or know where to get them local as I am thinking that you would want them rather quickly and not want to wait for them to be shipped.
I’m confused! If beeswax candles burn better and longer (Than what?) If that is compared to soy then how can soy candles that burn worse and for less time be even better? I also never once ate a birthday candle so vegetarian or not I cannot see the importance of using them beeswax is just as natural a product as soy too. I would not spend a lot of my time trying to find something that is hard to find so I can set fire to it and then throw it away.
