Loking for a cheap source that i can order 144+/- 10" red taper candles for xmas center pieces from. Chain stores are over $1.00. Dollar Stores are 1 for a buck. Best I have found on the web is $.65 each.

check out this site and go down to the tapers section, the first part is white only, then it has different sizes then right under that there are 10" ones in different colors…they are $1.79 per dz.

Where do you shop? At my local dollar store (99c Only Stores chain) the tapers are 2 or 3 for my buck. This is a chain of stores found all over the SoCal area. BigLots (national chain of clearing-house-type discount stores) usually sells these for less than 65c each. When we get a little closer to Christmas, the chain drug stores like RiteAid and SavOn and CVS usually have these at 3/$1.- or at least they have had them at this price every year that I can recall.
All these stores do have websites that contain store locators. See if there are any of these in your area. If not, go to Google and type "candle taper red discount" into the search box. I’ve found typing the nouns first usually gives me better results.
