How to fix broke taper candle?

I bought some decorative taper candles and while trying to put them in the holder the bottom (narrow part) broke off the bottom. I now only have the top (decorative) part of the candle. How can make it work in my holder?

If remelting the bottom doesn’t work try wrapping gauze tape around the bottom of the candle.

    Try melting the two parts a bit and pushing them together. If this doen’t work put some wire around to join them up. Decorate with a bit of ribbon. Do this to all of them so they match up. Caution. Only if it for decoration!!!

    I believe you could shave it off with a cheese slicer and melt the wax a little to get it to stick.
