Why do SCENTED candles burn faster than unscented?

I need to know for science. haha

It’s because when you add something to wax, like scent and coloring agents, it makes the wax less dense -it thins it out. So it burns faster.

Its the damn chemicals in those candles, it has to be. Its not pure wax, its loaded up with all kinda chems for you to inhale and smell, damn candles :P The chemicals probably act as burning agents that speed up the rate at which the wax melts.
